Feedlot construction
Feedlots play an integral role in Australia’s beef industry, which generated over $10 billion in 2019 and is one of our country’s top 10 export industries.
Building a feedlot to the highest standards requires a deep understanding of cattle and their welfare. PF Install Solutions scope of feedlot construction consists of a diverse range of works including:
Plumbing
Concreting
Fencing and pen construction
Working, induction and hospital areas
Laneways
Loading ramps
In Australia, feedlots are accountable to standards to keep cattle safe, including:
Sufficient food and water
Appropriate living conditions
The opportunity for cattle to display normal behavioural patterns
A safe environment with protection from injury or disease and treatment, if required
Appropriate handling
At PF Install Solutions, a large proportion of our business is feedlot construction. Whether it be an expansion, a new facility, project management or repairs and maintenance, we have the capability and experience to carry out all associated works for feedlot businesses.
We also understand the importance to cater to the client’s individual requirements and maintain open communication throughout the build.
We have experienced crews of tradesmen with the necessary qualifications for onsite work and they are backed up by our shed team who fabricate gates, panels and posts for our projects. This process allows the onsite program to flow smoothly and efficiently.
Where possible, we use high quality, Australian-made steel and support local suppliers as they are an important part of our network.
Australia wide, have constructed feedlots in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
We have a robust Workplace Health and Safety system in place to ensure safe practices at all times and our administration staff look after all aspects of WHS paperwork and ensure inductions and paperwork is in place before we arrive at the site.
PF Install Solutions is currently in the process of getting the following ISO numbers for Quality Environment Safety: ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
