Meet our Construction Manager

Jason Keane joined PF Install Solutions as Construction Manager in 2019. Prior to this, Jason spent more than 20 years in the construction industry, progressing to senior leadership positions on large projects.

With over 12 years of experience running his own earth moving business, Jason has a strong appreciation of what clients need and how to deliver it successfully.

Prior to joining PF Install Solutions, Jason had undertaken works for the Department of Defence and Gateway projects. He worked in the resource sector for more than eight years, managing large crews on major infrastructure projects for clients such as Origin Energy.

We asked Jason to share his insights about working as a member of the PF Install Solutions team…

What drew you to the Construction Manager role at PF Install Solutions?

I was drawn to the opportunity to work with Aaron (Purse) to develop a small family-run business into a formidable team within all aspects of agricultural and rural fencing, plumbing and concreting.

What impressed me about the company is that there is a focus to better everybody that is involved with the business both in terms of ongoing education and job satisfaction.

What do you enjoy about the role?

No two days are the same at Install Solutions! I travel the country to liaise with clients on large and small projects right from the initial contact, through pricing and delivering the project on time and on budget.

We work hard to implement processes that make our work more efficient. Through these efficiencies, our clients benefit from having their projects completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.

PF Install solutions offers a range of services including rural and commercial fencing, commercial concreting, fabrication and maintenance and plumbing.

What are some of the challenges you face in your role?

With COVID-19, it is very difficult to work across all borders of Australia as we’ve done in the past. Keeping projects on time and within budget with border closures while also keeping our staff healthy is an ongoing challenge.

The ever-developing construction industry will always be something we need to stay on top of - keeping up with new ideas and practices is a priority.

Managing the team to have them in the right place at the right time is an ongoing challenge. We have a great crew with a broad range of skills spread across Australia – they work hard and are committed to delivering the best outcomes for our clients.

Tell us more about the team…

We have been very fortunate to put an extremely talented team together that has the capabilities to complete anything that is put in front of them.

They always perform and this is shown by the repeat customers that we have been able to complete multiple projects for. We have had several new projects as a result of the recommendations that have been passed on by happy clients.

What do you think sets PF Install Solutions apart from our competitors?

Our ability to evolve with an ever-changing industry and listen to our clients needs to give them quality workmanship on time and on budget.

Our innovative thinking allows us to think on our feet and make changes to give our staff the support to complete projects.

What are your priorities at the moment?

Our current priorities are to keep building the business and create sustainability and diversification over the coming years.

Anything else you would like to add….

I would like to thank Aaron and Bec Purse for the opportunity to be a part of something that I am very passionate about and look forward to the opportunities we will create together in the future.
